PhD student, Psychology, University of Montreal
I’m a PhD student in psychology specialization in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Montreal. My main research interests and objectives consist in identifying and understanding early markers of dementia in order to prevent its development. During my bachelor, I used functional neuroimaging to investigate memory processes in individuals with mild cognitive impairment. For my PhD, I joined a sleep team to investigate obstructive sleep apnea as a risk factor for dementia. Using data from the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging, I intend to develop a model integrating various individual characteristics and comorbidities that could link obstructive sleep apnea to dementia.
