Hajar Abu Alrob

Hajar Abu Alrob is currently completing her Ph.D. in Health Research Methodology, clinical epidemiology, at McMaster University and the GERAS Centre for Aging Research. Her doctoral research will use longitudinal population-level data from the Institute of Clinical Effectiveness (ICES) and the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) to advance research in aging, mobility, and falls and provide scientific value on the needs of older adults. Hajar’s research will evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on injurious falls and fractures and will explore lifestyle characteristics that impact longevity and clinically important outcomes.
