PhD student, Kinesiology, University of Waterloo
I am is a first year PhD student at the University of Waterloo. I am in the department of Kinesiology and part of the Aging, Health, and Well-being stream. My research focuses on how lifestyle factors promote healthy aging, particularly cognitive aging. My doctoral thesis will involve developing a multicomponent sleep program to promote sleep and well-being in persons living with dementia. My research uses a blend of epidemiological methods with clinical and participatory research to gain a holistic understanding of this area. I plan to pursue a role in public health to promote this knowledge into the real world.
