Rebecca Correia

Rebecca is a PhD student in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University. She conducts health services research with the Big Data and Geriatric Models of Care (BDG) team and Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, Waterloo Regional Campus. Rebecca’s doctoral research will establish the first validated cohort of family physicians with Care of the Elderly (COE) certifications within administrative health records at the Institute for Clinical and Evaluative Sciences (ICES). She will use epidemiological methods to investigate associations between COE family physician practice patterns, trends, and health services outcomes in the care of older adults.
