Laura Lawson
Laura Lawson is a writer, editor and public relations professional, specializing in the communication of health sciences research. She holds a B.Sc. in psychology and biological anthropology from the University of Toronto and studied journalism at Humber College and the University of Iowa and public relations at McMaster University. As communications manager for the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA), Laura is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the national communications strategy for Canada’s largest study of health and aging. Prior to her work in communications, Laura held reporting and editing positions at several newspapers, including the Guelph Mercury, Hamilton Spectator and Waterloo Region Record.
