Jennifer Boyko, PhD

Jennifer Boyko holds a PhD in health research methodology and a graduate diploma in health services and policy research from McMaster University. Her areas of expertise include knowledge translation and public health systems research. In her current role, she blends scientific and operational understandings of large-scale population health research projects to ensure a scientific lens is always considered with respect to operations. Prior to joining the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging in 2019, Dr. Boyko held a scientist position at the Propel Centre for Population Health at the University of Waterloo. Dr. Boyko has also held various academic appointments at Ontario universities and professional positions with health services organizations, giving her broad perspective, knowledge and understanding of health and social issues in Canada.
