Philippe Bérubé-Mercier

Philippe Bérubé-Mercier is a doctoral student in Nursing science at Université Laval in Quebec City. His research interests are in aging and the validation of symptom assessment tools in palliative care and oncology settings, specifically, the assessment of pain during palliative sedation and the assessment of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). The aim of his doctoral dissertation is to evaluate the quality and age-related psychometric invariance of CIPN tools and to examine age-related patterns in the trajectory and impact of CIPN.
